M. Susan Miller, Director of Cross Cultural &
International Business Development, has more than 30 years in higher
education with emphasis on International Program Development and
Implementation. Specifically, Ms. Miller has implemented programs,
such as U.S. State Department-sponsored Humphrey Fellow and Fulbright
Scholar programs while at the University of California, Santa Cruz, as
well as designed and implemented successful professional development
programs for international corporations, such as Oracle Japan, NTT
DoCoMo, Korea Telecom, and NEC Soft.
Ms. Miller’s experience includes 17 years at the
Director level in Higher Education International Programs at the
University of California campuses in Santa Cruz and Davis. She has
broad reaching experience focused on global marketing and management,
business administration, public administration, and entrepreneurism.
Ms. Miller has dedicated her career to the advancement and education of
students and professionals from every continent except Antarctica.
Ms Miller’s
achievements highlight the development of a custom program for INTEL
Corporation employees that was offered onsite through the University of
California, Davis. Her skill set includes: curriculum and course
development, strategic planning, staff management and team leadership,
and the development of international marketing plans.
Born in Ohio, Ms.
Miller attended The Ohio State University and Indiana University. She
completed both her Bachelor and Master degree with High Honors from Ohio
University, majoring in Russian Language and Literature with a Minor in
Portuguese at the undergraduate level and in Linguistics and Teaching
English as a Foreign Language at the Graduate Level.
